Connecting to the internet

Ideos is a phone that uses Linux platform and is only compatible with Linux and windows7 os. For those who are xp funs like me have to tweak our computers by adding virtual machines like VMware. But it better to install linux mint which can easily be booted from a flash drive.

Hereis the process..

Install linux mint => wireless&networks => mobilenetworks => dataenable => teathering& portable hotspots

Using yu mobile connection.

You need to create an APN to support  YU mobile or any other sim card.

Here is the process….

Wireless & networks => mobile networks => access point names => press menu =>select new APN .

Fill the details as follows;

Name= yu

APN=internet

Username=yu

Leave all the other details blank.

 there are a few reasons why your ideos hangs. one reson is too many apps on your device. you have to ensure that you have empty space for storage of sms and emails nb this applies in both .. the phone memory and the sd card it self.. however if it the problem is not solved you can remove your battery and then place it again... if it dose not work take your phone to dealer you have a hardware problem..
